We woke up to a grey, drizzly day at home (which we are sorely in need of - no complaints) so we thought we'd take a drive along Peak-to-Peak highway to see the aspen leaves changing. At about 6500' the clouds disappeared and the temperature jumped about 10 degrees - it was gorgeous! We stopped to take a peak at Boulder Falls (it's finally open after a year or so of being closed), then cruised on to Nederland and then north, up Peak-to-Peak, stopping a couple places to take in the amazing views of golds and greens. The trees down in Boulder & Longmont aren't turning quite yet, so this was a treat. Fall at last!
