Wesley went camping for the first time!

We spent the two nights at Jellystone Campgrounds in Estes Park with our friends, The Bayons. Well, Josh and Van spent the nights... Wesley decided late Friday night that sleeping outside wasn't for him just yet, so he and I drove down to sleep at home (just 20 minutes away) and came back up first thing in the mornings.

Van and his best buddy, Brody, were just happy as could be playin' in the dirt at the campsite, splashing in the pool, riding their bikes around Lake Estes and dining on hot dogs all weekend. As a matter of fact, the bike helmets were on almost the whole weekend... riding bikes or not. They also got to meet Yogi Bear Saturday morning! Not sure either of them have ever seen a Yogi Bear cartoon, but whatever.

Wesley loved playing in his pack-n-play outside where mom & dad were hangin' out, or playing in the tent with the big boys! He got to try some new foods - some bigger hits than others (mac-n-cheese vs. watermelon).
