My Li'l Climber

Van has started taking climbing classes! I've likened him to "a duck to water" with them. He loves it!

Today he got his first taste of being in the harness and tied in to go up the wall. He, like a few other kids in the class, got about 1/2 way up the wall, looked down for approval, realized just how far up he was and froze. Once he felt the rope tug him in the repel he was better and dropped down easy enough. Bouldering was his thing for the rest of the class today.

We can't wait to do some bouldering with him in Texas with his cousin Ahir and uncle Seth. So much fun!!
