Happy Halloween!
We started out our Halloween with a little parade at Van's school. He was so super siked to get to be Green Lantern at last! (he was sick on Sunday, so we missed Boo at the Zoo)
And what Halloween would be complete without a little Trick-or-Treating?! We joined our friends, the Bayons, at their house for a quick dinner before heading out around their neighborhood to knock on some doors. Brody, aka Spider Man, and Van, aka Green Lantern, ran as fast as they could from house to house! Sometimes they were going so fast they passed a house, only to screech to a halt and double back to hit it. After an hour Van's pumpkin was very obviously as loaded as he wanted and he actually asked to go home. Brody continued on for about another half hour.
Wesley, aka Li'l Monkey, made it to one house and was decidedly not ready for the Trick-or-Treat experience. He, Josh and Chris all hung out at the Bayon house handing out candy.
It was a great neighborhood to spend Halloween evening in, and we are very grateful to our friends for inviting us to share it with them.
