Fall Family Fun

We've been having a ton of fun this fall!


Saturday we took our first trip to the Denver Zoo! It was a free day so the place was packed. All the animals were out and about in their spaces though. We got to see the new baby monkey - freakin' adorable. And the lemurs were frolicking and the asian black bears were chillin' in their habitat (not together, of course).


Sunday we took Van to the Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Patch here in Longmont. It was very reminiscent of Finney's Pumpkin Farm in Pennsylvania that my family and I went to every year growing up! Huge mounds of pumpkins everywhere, carnival food, apple cider (freshly pressed there) and they even had pony rides and a small petting zoo! A nice touch were the Radio Flyer wagons that they lent out to everyone.
