Happy Thanksgiving!

Van had his first Thanksgiving! Really, it was like any other day for him, but with more visiting. We headed to Donald Cicchillo's for our first of two dinners. Mike & Susan were there and we had a delicious first round of eats!

Then it was off to Abe & Kaity's for the "big" dinner. Whew - there was a lot of food! Mashed potoates, broccoli casserole, cornbread stuffing, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce (out of the can - yeah!), gravy and The Bird. It was all fantastic... and will be for lunch, and possibly dinner again. Kaity did an awesome job of hosting her first Thanksgiving, and did a wonderful job on the turkey - Mmmm!

Since we didn't head to Texas for the holiday as planned we have taken advantage of Josh's week off and painted the upstairs bathroom. In the future we will think harder about painting all the trim - yikes! It does look pretty great though. Pictures will follow when the tape comes down.

For now the holiday music has started and decorating will commence this week as well. Woo hoo!
