Rockies Day 2018

One of the perks of playing baseball with the Longmont Baseball League is being invited to walk the field before a Rockies game at Coors Field.  The boys look forward to it every year!  This year was no exception.  It was a beautiful day - not too blistering hot - and the Rockies were playing the Dodgers, which was supposed to be a good game. 

The Bayon family and we stopped in Boulder to have breakfast at one of our favorite joints, The Buff, before heading into Denver for the game. 

It all came down to the final inning, but the Rockies lost 10-7.  It was an active game tho, which kept the boys into watching the plays.  We still took off at the Stretch.
