A little time in Mexico
For Lindsay's bachelorette getaway she opted for an all-inclusive resort in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico. Uh... si, senorita! She and her friend, and fellow bridesmaid, Sarah met me and Megan at Xcaret Resort just outside Playa del Carmen for a 4 day weekend of lounging in the sun with a beverage or two. Resort fun times! I'd never been to an all-inclusive before. It had just not been my style to sit on a vacation and do... well... nothing. Let me just say now: I am a convert! This place was just wonderful! The food was nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad. The drinks flowed freely and were not watered down. The service was lovely and everyone we interacted with was friendly and easy to smile (and spoke at least enough English to help us out if we needed it).
