First Day of School 16

Van and Wes had their first days of school on August 16th and 18th respectively.  Van was very excited to get back and see his friends again.  His teacher is Mrs Sekich.

To say Wes was excited is an understatement.  This was Wesley's first day of Kindergarten - real school!  It would be his first time going to school all day, too.  Just like his big brother, Wes would check in to his class at 8:20a and get picked up at 3:00p.  Not only was this exciting but it turned out he was in class with is two best buds:  Josep & Travis.  His teacher is Ms Vorhaus.  Upon arriving in the classroom for the first time she had all the students take a seat on the round carpet, and she read them a story about the first day of school.  She invited the parents to stay for it, too.  Wes had hugged me goodbye before he went in, so I just listened to the story, waved from the door again and said goodbye to my baby bear.  

Van had a great first day, but this was a little more "old hat" to him.  He is in class with a great group of kids, a few of which are his good friends.

It's going to be an exciting year for both of them - lots to look forward to!
