Mother's Day
For this Mother's Day my boys and I had a wonderful morning at the Denver Zoo! After morning tea on the patio with my Nook (Josh took the boys inside so I had a little peace for a minute) I was treated to the luxury of a long shower, and when I emerged Josh had the boys and the car already packed!
He'd put together a fantastic picnic - huge, fried chicken breasts (he fried himself - yum!), a crunchy green salad, strawberries and grapes (mostly for Van) and mason jars with greek honey yogurt & strawberries, and he even packed it all in a basket. I was very impressed!
We saw the tigers playing, the baby giraffe kissin' his momma and "Nemo & Dory" of course. We headed toward the monkeys but it was obvious the smaller parts of our family were done for the day. :-)
Huge thank you's to my wonderful, wonderful boys and their awesome Dad - you guys made this Mom feel very loved. <3 ya!!
